No-one puts Swayze in the corner!

Some of you (folks in the UK who have been to the cinema in the last year or two, I guess) will be familiar with the Orange Film Commission adverts in which they mock the film pitches of Hollywood worthies and try to turn them into gratuitous product placement for the Orange mobile 'phone network. There are also some others featuring a couple of the guys from the commission which plug their Orange Wednesdays promotion. My question to you is this: am I the only person slashing them?

I mean, seriously. After the 'walk you through the poster' one (ooh! role-play - I like it!) and the latest where they're having dinner together and talk French at each other, how much more canonical can it get?

Just me?

OK, I'll go and pretend to be normal, then...

I feel very geeky right now, but I too saw the one where they speak French to each other and thought it was incredibly slashy.

Idly googling did not, alas, turn anything up. Clearly somebody needs to write some, though...

I've only seen the ones for the Orange Film Commission and saw no UST between the panel at all. Lots of very silly gags, especially the one with Verne Troyer. Consistently funny series.

No, there really isn't anything to see in the main ads, it's only in the Orange Wednesdays ones that the subtext rapidly becomes text...

The latest one is definitely a bone for the slash fen.

FWIW, I saw Jim Carrey in The Majestic a couple of weekends ago and the opening scene seems to be what the Orange ads are based on: "How about it's a dog instead of a crippled kid?"

Much the same here. Now, I see the slash in everything. And I don't even consider myself a slasher.

I'm really not at all. The only slash I read is Sirius/Remus.
