100 Cols Challenge

I'm not a big fan of strenuous physical activity, but not everyone in my family has such a high level of sanity. For example, my cousin is undertaking the 100 Cols Challenge, a cycle ride which makes the Tour de France look easy (OK, slight exaggeration, but it is harder than Le Tour). Anyway, he's doing it for charity, in aid of Cancer Research UK. If you can afford to spare a few pounds (or whatever currency your credit card uses), then please pop over to the sponsorship page and give John a bit of encouragement. Thanks!

I thought clicking that link might tell me what on earth a "col" might be… but it didn't.
A good point...

In cycling terms, it pretty much equates to a bloody big hill.
