RIP shirts

So, this evening I did the first batch of laundry in the shiny new washer-dryer in my shiny new kitchen. It killed two of my favourite T-shirts. The design on the Kenya one had some how got all fused together, and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror one started crumbling off. I hope this is just me picking the wrong program and won't be a recurring feature...

Some days it really isn't worth getting out of bed. Or maybe it's the not getting out of bed until after midday part that's the problem. Either way,…

I suspect it may be the drying part that did for my shirts - it seemed to be much hotter than the old one (although the 60°C wash which should have been a 40°C one probably didn't help). Losing Disney shirts is sad, but if it's because you're much to small for it, then that's a positive result!

The amusing thing is that all my Disney shirts from 2003 are still surviving despite one or two washes a month for nearly three years, whereas the ToT one didn't survive three months...
Er, yeah. Don't put screenprinted t-shirts in the tumble dryer.
The old one never caused any problems</petulant>
