How many of the 3,104 pieces were genuine bricks and how many were entire premoulded gun turrets?

Approximately 0. None of the pieces were of a shape I hadn't come across previously, modulo colour and possibly exact dimensions. FYI, the gun turrets were each a 6-piece construction, including two pairs of binoculars.
