Look at the size of that thing...

Just finished building the all-time largest LEGO model. With 3104 pieces and a construction manual that runs to 228 pages of A3, this thing is BIG. Yes, folks, it's the Imperial Star Destroyer, all 37" of it. The problem now is finding somewhere to put the darned thing...

I'm on fire with white-hot envy of your Lego Star Destroyer. Congrats, it must have been a blast to build. Have you seen the pics for the new 2003 Star Wars stuff? I must acquire the Lego Jabba the Hut, slave-girl Leia, and Bib Fortuna.
It was definitely more fun to build than some models - due to the sheer volume of pieces, they weren't too badly mixed together (it gets a bit annoying when you spend half a minute searching for each brick). I've just had a quick look at the 2003 stuff, and there's some definite wants there - problem is, I haven't even got all the 2002 sets I want due to lack of space for the completed models ;-(

I don't really want LEGO taking over my entire flat, so I may have to donate some of the sets I'm less keen on to my lego-mad ex (the largest room of her house is dedicated to lego) to make room for the new ones...
