ZOMG Lightning!

Digital cameras are fun. Alas catching a picture of a really good bit of lightning is pretty much impossible. Any sort of lightning at all requires mucho patience (or possibly better camera settings...)

Still, hopefully a nice storm will clear the air and make it a bit less hot and humid.

Oooh, that is a really good shot! I never ever have the patience to try and get good lightning shots.

(Hi, btw. I keep forgetting to say anything; I friended you like a year ago after folk and rustnroses and pyrate_queen and I caught up with you for dinner at the yummy French place. I'm not worried if you don't friend me back, but I kept forgetting to say hello, and in case you were wondering what the hell I was doing here. *g*)

Thanks! There was a lot of lightning last night, so it wasn't so much a patience issue as a reaction time one. I still which I'd managed to catch a really good forked bit, but there didn't seem to be any more of that after I'd remembered my camera.

I'm sure I meant to friend you after that dinner at Pierre Victoire, but I suspect that I cunningly forgot to take such useful details as LJ names. Anyway, you should be able to see rather more of my LJ now, seeing as how most of my posts are flocked or filtered in some way.
