Well, I'm back.

As alluded to in my earlier post, I spent most of today watching The Lord of the Rings - all three extended editions back-to-back. Damn, but I'd forgotten just how good those films are. Admittedly, watching them all in one go (I've done it in three consecutive days before) is a bit of an endurance test - in the best possible way, of course.

Anyway, Happy New Year, everyone!

HNY!
A most appropriate icon, given that from my second-floor vantage point I can see fireworks at pretty much every point of the compass...
Yeah, they be good films, they be :-)

Actually, UGC up here is showing each instalment on the big screen over the next three weeks, and I'm seriously tempted: even though they're the theatrical versions and not the Extended Editions, those films look pretty darned epic on the big screen!

And Happy New Year to you, too :-)
Happy 2007! I hope it's all that you want it to be.
Hi Mark, I stumbled across your LJ via titanic_days - it looks like we've got quite a few shared interests so I'm hoping it's okay that I've friended you. Besides, I like having people who are good with computers on my flist, it's always useful when my laptop decides to pull something funny on me (only about twice a week or so)!
