Mact00bage! (there's a double meaning in that...)
Am posting this on my new iBook, using iJournal (thanks to 
queerasjohn for the link). This being the first laptop I've ever owned, and indeed the first time I've used a Mac in about seven years (last time was in the Keble computer room, and only when the PCs were all in use). With Apple eye-candy on top and UNIX underneath, OS X is much with the goodness. I'm still in the "getting used to it" phase, so won't say much more now, except that both hardware and software wise it's already had more "woah, cool!" comments out of me than anything else I've used.
In other news, have booked time off and train tickets for Mact00bage - yay for another fandom meet! Also, saw car with number-plate G1NNY on the way to work this morning.
