Well, it seems like my kitchen mojo has well and truly departed. I'd just put some oil on in the frying pan when I got a 'phone call. Ten minutes later, "what's that smell?". Open the kitchen door and WHOOSH! Great clouds of smoke! I manage to turn the ring off, stick the frying pan under the cold tap and open the window before retreating with streaming eyes and a hearty cough. On the second attempt, I managed to break the wooden spatula I was stirring with, and when I went to put water on for the pasta, I managed to turn on the wrong ring and end up with a well-done panhandle.

Methinks I should stick to puddings.

Is now a good time to mention I can cook fairly well?
Probably not the best of times ;-)

Just a bad evening... The end result was edible, so I'm not complaining.

Given he whole smoke thing, am amused to note that the itemid is 33999.

I made egg-fried rice today, and it managed to weld itself to the frying pan. And then I set off the fire alarm, which wouldn't turn off for about five minutes, until I'd opened every window in the flat and flapped about with a teatowel. So don't worry, you are not alone.
I promise you, I am not laughing right now....
Then again, I sign all my messages "love, lore" whether I mean it or not. ;)

Move 'dick' For great t00bage

That would make a great fortune cookie...
My kitchen mojo is gone too. I made myself a nice Thai curry only 1 hour ago, then sat down to eat it, only to discover that the chicken wasn't cooked enough.

Maybe you should stick to less complicated items. Pudding sounds great. But I doubt a person can survive on just pudding. Can they? O.o

Where did your mojo go? And who stole it?
I understand that most of MacT00bage survived on pudding alone from Sunday afternoon onwards, so I say "why not?".

I can recommend Mark's curries. And beef stews. And chilli. And especially his bolognese. We ought to get Mark to start cooking some of them so that they can be ent00(m)bed in the c00kb00k.

Probably not, but I'm tempted to try ;-)

Where did your mojo go?

South for the winter. It sent me a postcard from some Caribbean beach resort by the name of Hedonism. *So* not fair.

Because it seemed a worthwhile task:

And, of course, all your t00b are belong to us.

Let's just say my cooking skills are very much below my screencapping-and-pic-manipping skills...

Nice, niiiiiice! Now if you could have a "dick" made out of dick then we would be starting to approach the sonic barrier of silliness.

Alright, so I'm suspecting that your mojo and IvyBlossoms gay have run away together for the winter. She's been missing it since last Monday. Maybe someone should tell her. She seems quite worried.

Mr. Dickson--Curry you say, bolognese, and stews? But that confounded oil, tricky, very tricky. I can honestly claim pudding was a main source of nourishment while I was in college. But maybe someone should send Mark a care package just in case pudding is not enough.
Puddings are good!

Thanks for the mutual friend adding. Looking forward to future t00biness.
