BTD

Tonight went to the annual dinner of the Invariants - mostly just because I'll take any excuse to dress up in black tie, but also for the food and the socialising. After the food, we did t00by photocalls before retiring to the bar where silly towers were built from plastic cups and drunken chess was played. On the downside, when I got home, I discovered I'd lost a cuff link :-( Oh, well...

Starter: Artickoke, Palm Hearts and Red Onion Salad
Main course: Breast of Pheasant with traditional trimmings (apparently including crumble topping)
Pudding: Rasberry Sorbet in a Brandy Snap Basket garnished with Exotic Fruits

Oh, come on - who wouldn't want to look like James Bond? Besides, it's almost impossible not to look good in a tuxedo ;-) The main thing I have against dressing up is that to do so in anything interesting would pretty much always involve drag...

Maybe I misunderstand, but you have no problems with dressing up in interesting things for Rocky Horror. Open your mind!

Ah, well, there are special cases. It's more an "I have no desire to dress up in drag just for the hell of it". Mostly, that comment was all about the wordplay.
