Quotes of the day

Bill Gates, in his memo "Toward a Spam-Free Future":
Like almost everyone, I receive a lot of spam every day, much of it offering to help me get out of debt or get rich quick. It's ridiculous.
One of the comments on the BBC News article "If not smacking, then what?":
Parents now have the ultimate sanction: "No Harry Potter". Or worse, you could threaten to tell them that [censored] dies on page [censored].
In other ...er... "news", I've done further LJ style tweakage, in the form of graphical threading on entry pages. Unfortunately, to see it, you'll all have to post lots of comments. Muahahahaha!

Many a mickle maks a muckle, as discussed, but do many replies make "lots"? :-)
Soon there will be more than just bullet points! Bwahahahaha!

Note how you can click on a non-leaf node to view a thread - this even seems to work in collapsed more, at least on the test server.

noun 1 (a lot, or lots) colloquial large number or amount. 2 each of set of objects used to make chance selection. 3 this method of deciding. 4 share or responsibility resulting from it. 5 destiny, fortune, condition. 6 esp. US plot; allotment. 7 article or set of articles for sale at auction etc. 8 group of associated people or things. draw, cast lots decide by lots. the (whole) lot total number or quantity. A lot of, as in a lot of people, is fairly informal, though acceptable in serious writing, but lots of people is not acceptable.
