So, I finally managed to do the trick-or-treat meme:

zorac goes trick-or-treating, dressed up as the Big Giant Golf Ball.
addedentry gives you 1 pink grape-flavoured wafers.
epicyclical gives you 9 mauve strawberry-flavoured pieces of chewing gum.
hermorrine tricks you! You get a thumbtack.
jiggery_pokery gives you 3 purple orange-flavoured gumdrops.
kazzik gives you 16 mauve strawberry-flavoured gumdrops.
malachan gives you 4 light orange mint-flavoured jelly beans.
queerasjohn gives you 7 green cola-flavoured gummy bears.
sjbranford tricks you! You get a piece of string.
wilwheaton2 gives you 7 light green watermelon-flavoured pieces of chewing gum.
wimborne tricks you! You get a thumbtack.
zorac ends up with 47 pieces of candy, a thumbtack, a piece of string, and a thumbtack.

So that would be two thumbtacks then? Ah well, t'is better than being tricked with saftey satany pins.

I was rather generous I think. although I am sure mauve is not a very good colour for a strawberry flavoured sweet. Although sounds better than the purple coloured, orange-flavoured gumdrops, and indeed Cyg's orange mint-flavoured jelly beans.
