Friday: We met up in Hollywood Cocktails from 5pm onwards as the T00bs began to congregate from around the country. The original plan was to leave at around 7, but delayed trains and coaches meant that we ended up staying for another couple of hours (and another couple of cocktails). Special recommendations: Cinnamon Daiquiri (however you pronounce it) and the Raspberry Tart. The Bloody Mary was nice, if a little hot for my taste. After that, we decamped back to the T00blerone and grabbed food from the chippy downstairs. The rest of the evening was general t00bery, discussion of slash, etc. The numbers gently dropped as the night went on, and those of us left headed to bed at around 2 (one individual, who was using Trivial Pursuits as a pillow took a little persuasion).
Saturday: The original schedule had us all meeting up for Phillip Pullman's book signing at 10:30. Alas, when I received
Sunday: Another late start, and the poor folks with 24 hour passes missed out on their ride into town by all of about a minute. Once again, we had difficulties finding somewhere to eat, but this time we lucked out at Zizzi, where we had the best food of the weekend - and an intense discussion of religion as fandoms and Chateau T00bage. After lunch, it was time for us to head our separate ways. So, until next time...

As to the latter, I'm fairly sure that there were some points in the film where our commentary was a darn sight more entertaining that what was going on on screen...

I may stop spamming your comments page now. I think I am just fascinated by the bullet points still.

I'm sorry, Kaz, but I'm afraid you can't do that. You must answer my Tricial Pursuits quiz first!

I am very glad you mentioned the pub food. I deliberately stayed away from the meat this time but still notsomuch with the impressedness. I trust you'll be doing the research? ;)
Yate's sucked almost as much as the Matrix. Except I got the feeling that Yates's were REALLY trying at it, whilst Teh Matrix managed on natural skill.
Fankyoo for putting me up for the weekend :D Was a great weekend And you are still the bestest host evar :D

OK, then. Please answer the following questions:
Geography: What country's flag flies over the Auckland Islands?
Entertainment: What country was the setting for Ivor the Engine?
History: Who gave his name to the month of July?
Arts and Literature: Who was famous for saying: "All you need to fly are lovely things and fairy dust"?
Science and Nature: What is a pipistrel or a flittermouse?
Sports and Leisure: What weapon is used by a woman fencer?
I trust you'll be doing the research?
I do indeed plan do research pub (and other) grub before the next Oxford t00bage. We certainly need somewhere with
betteredible food.Yate's sucked almost as much as the Matrix.
I'm unsure who you are being the most cruel to here ;)
And you are still the bestest host evar

Geography: The Auckland Flag. Clearly.
Entertainment: Ivor...land.
History: Julius Caesar (no, I can't give the wrong answer for this, I tried, I really did!)
Arts and Literature: Technically J M Barrie, theoretically Peter Pan, but in actuality neither because Peter Pan was never famous for saying that, he was famous for saying the never-growing-up line. Which, personally? So agreeing with.
Science and Nature: Lesbian sexual techniques.
Sports and Leisure: Sticks.
Nope, osmosis aided learning (OAL) failed (and by this reasoning my ICT paper did similarly)
(I did not come and find this from here. Because that would be have been teh lame.)

I am not sure about the first or the last. The last is annoying because I feel I should know it, not least because
Please correct me!
