You shot me!

(Not so) GIP! That's one of my windows, that is. While I was typing up my last post, there was an almighty bang, not unlike a gun going off, and certainly louder than the fireworks that I've had over the last couple of weeks. Naturally, I drew back the curtains to look out of the window and see what was going on. What I discovered was that it was the window itself that was going on. It looks very much like a gunshot hole in the outer pane of the double glazing (the inner pane is thankfully intact), plus there are long cracks running to the edge of the glass. What caused the break, I have no idea, but I'm guessing that the sound was in fact an implosion rather than an explosion. In any case it's really rather worrying - either somebody is trying to kill me (rather incompetently, at least), or the T00blerone is about to collapse around me. Or neither of the above. Methinks I'll be calling the managing agents tomorrow...

But wait! I've barely got started on my Matrix dissing ;) It certainly could have been somebody throwing something, but I was looking out of the window pretty soon after and I didn't see anyone.

Glad that the explanation does turn out to be so benign. It would have been far more mystifying, though possibly (a) slightly less scary and (b) slightly harder to deal with had it been the inner pane rather than the outer one which fractured.

I do like the phrase By the power of Google! very much, by the way. There could be a GIP in that. YOU... HAVE... THE POWER...
