Punt00bage '04

Greetings, t00bs! This is a pre-announcement for this year's Punt00bage - I'll do a proper one on

t00bage some time after folk are back on LJ after the Easter break. Due to having to fit it in after exams finish but before the end of term, this has ended up as the weekend after the release of PoA - Friday 11th - Sunday 13th June - which co-incidentally is exactly one year after the original punt!t00bage.

The current vague plan is much the same as last year - Friday night at the T00blerone, meeting somewhere for lunch on Saturday (but not the Eagle and Child this time, on account of their food being teh crap) followed by punting and Pimms, then more random t00bing for the rest of the weekend. There's at least an outside chance that some people may want to watch Prisoner of Azkaban. Update: Oh, and I'm sure that G&D's and Hollywood Cocktails will also feature. It's not so much that we have it in for you, it's more that it was so your fault that Erin fell in the second time. And we had a teaser of how it would be like if you fell in when you dramatically fell to your knees in a bid to stay on the punt. Also we just want to see you in a wet shirt :D

Am sad I missed this dramatic fall-to-knees, as was submerged in river at the time. :-"

Also, I'm still glad that Simon did not dive in after me. That would've been even more embarrassing.

Simon clearly missed his chance to be heroic. I would have laughed myself sick and then some. I am snickering wildly at the merest idea. I feel you have a good reason to have missed the dramatic fall. Especially the time you went completly under and vanished.

No one can claim that I was not a bloody good sport about it. When everyone is laughing ~~with~~ at you, you might as well laugh too. It really was funny -- you all were like, "YOU COULD HAVE DIED! :O" and I was like, "Whee! Water! *squelches* :D :D"

Also, does anyone know what happened to Cyg's Punt00bage pictures? None of my pictures have me in them, since I was behind the camera.

You were a wonderful sport about it old chap :-* I also laugh remembering you walking down the road dripping left, right and centre.

I think we proved you aren't really a witch by the dramatic sinking though. Despite you meeting me at the station in the pointy hat! I'll have you know that I was v worried. Lets not mock my concern here pumpkin! <3

Cygs Punt00bage pics? It's easier getting Alex's pictures - at least I got to see his punt00bage pictures last time I was in Brighton! I have been poking Cygnus about Punt00bage pictures since augusty time and still no sign of them.

And to think he guilted me about not getting pictures from january sent!

I have the utmost faith that they'll be uploaded at some point. Just am vaugely sceptical (Ie, it has been TEN MONTHS) on whether this 'some point' will be this... decade. I do, however, have Clesomes punt!t00bage pictures if you'd like those? Only around half a dozen though.

You didn't include "I'm in the middle of exams and the world hates me" as a poll option I see.

As with Hana - completely in the middle of the exams, and there is no way in hell I make it.

Well that's that then.

I am entirely too distraught over this. Punt00bages are always the best.

If anyone needs me I'll be over here CRYING LIKE A FIVE YEAR OLD.

I would like to register my EXCESSIVE BITTERNESS that I will not be able to come to Punt00bage '04 ~~and fall in the river for you all again~~. :((((( Will miss you guys and all the t00bing terribly.
