Cocktail of the Day

Inventing cocktails can be fun, and it's hard to go wrong with lots of rum and citrus juice...

Three Colours Orange

1oz Navy Rum
1oz Morgan's Spiced
1oz Malibu
½oz Lemon Juice
½oz Lime Juice

Shake and pour into a long glass, top up with Orange Juice.

I would like one of these. However, tomorrow night I fear I may want about 6. Also, I must ask what Navy rum is - is it navy-coloured? Made by the British Navy? Please do explain.

And while you're at it, could you please explain Twiglets?

Navy rum would be the rum made for the Navy - in the Good Old Days, at any rate. Generally it would refer to a strong, dark rum.

No-one can be told what twiglets are - you have to taste them for yourself. Say, in about three weeks?

I am really surprised that one of my silly guesses about the rum was sort of correct!

*looks apprehensive* I heard that they have something to do with marmite... but I am willing to try. Do YOU like them?

Youaresoclever!

They do indeed have taste similarities with marmite. I like both marmite and twiglets (wheras my father detests both).
