So, here I am, sat in a large, excessively
air-conditioned room full of racks, occasionally
poking things between calls with the office, and
I'm thinking to myself "what to do to pass the
time?" I could read my book (Finity by John Barnes - started off in your standard Nazis-won-WWII alternate universe, but now seems to be developing some interesting many-worlds stuff), but that gets
annoying with constant interruptions. So, by the
power of Greyskull Lynx, here I am.
Nothing more to say, of course...
( Collapse )I have to confess that watching Star Wars a few weeks back in this post-prequel era was something of a disappointment. The Empire Strikes Back on the other hand, is a much superior effort. Whilst it can can't match Attack of the Clones for the sheer wow factor of the visuals, it more than makes up for that in scripting and direction - perhaps it's no co-incidence that this is the episode in which George Lucas took something of a back seat - providing only the story.
