Thish sheemsh like an ecshellent time to dishcussh the effectsh of alcohol. I wash asshured upon leaving the party I shpent the evening at that I "looked pisshed", sho I think I know what I'm talking about (if not, thish posht will do a rapid disshappearing act in the morning). Ash I shaid to my shishter (why is my family alwaysh involved in any ecsheshive alcohol conshumption?), I shushpect that after the firsht glassh, alcohol hash very little effect on me beyond the shoporific. That firsht glassh, however, doesh create an intereshting "veil" betwicsht mind and body - whilsht I can shtill think fairly normally, theresh a notishable delay in communicayshunsh with the resht of me (depending on shircumshtanshesh - bubbly on an empty shtomach worksh fasht, wine with a meal ish shlow).
